We have two photo-galleries that we can show you. The first is the portfolio section of this site. It  works by calling in images that we have posted on Flickr and displaying them on a gallery page (this is where the image at the head of this page is derived from). The images that are displayed depend on how they are ‘key worded’ . For example all images tagged as Lancashire can be called up can be called up and displayed on a page specifically requiring images of Lancashire. This has several advantages:

• Images can be displayed on our site whilst also being seen by a wider audience on Flickr.
• Those that like our work on Flickr have a route back to finding our site (more routes to us).
• We are using Flickr’s site almost as a database allowing us to choose images dynamically by category, location, subject matter etc.
• As we add more images to Flickr they automatically become content to this site.
• Only galleries of images from our account appear on this site.

However, we have found that some people cannot access Flickr; their company may not let them have access to such sites. If you are having difficulty in seeing our images on the Portfolio Page you can go to our sister site at Commercial Photography Lancashire and view a smaller selection of the images there. That site has been set up with this purpose in mind, but also to show another type of site that we can create on the WordPress platform.
